Our National birthday program will commence with invocation prayers, 9 Sai Gayatri and 108 names of Sri Sathya Sai Baba (Sri Sathya Sai Ashtottarashata Namavali). While chanting Bhagawan’s 108 names, we would like to welcome all devotees to take part in offering Akshata (rice grain) to Bhagawan.
We would be grateful if you could prepare a small plate with Akshata (rice grain) and a small photograph of Swami on the day to offer love and gratitude to our Lord who is the embodiment of love.
We are also fortunate to have join us live from India, Dr. Sainath Manikonda. Dr. Sainath is an alumnus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. He did his degree and his doctoral studies at Bhagawan’s Institute and went on to serve as a faculty member in the physics department for several years.
Sainath Sir was also blessed with a unique opportunity to stay and serve Bhagawan at His residence for several years. Currently he works as a Dean of the institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India Group and was recently appointed as the advisor of Start-ups and Innovation of Telengana IT Association.
We will also have a musical offering as well as a short presentation on the update of the Service projects on the 95 Communities Project.
Attached are the flyers for the National Birthday Celebrations.
“There is no end to desires for material things in the world. To get rid of desires, man must turn his mind towards God. That is the way to achieve contentment and lasting bliss.”
