It is with great pleasure that we write to invite you to the online National Easwaramma Day celebrations, to be held on Saturday 8 May 2021. This is an opportunity for our children, parents, teachers, young adults and devotees to come together from across the United Kingdom to express their heartfelt gratitude to our Divine Mother Sai and to the glory of motherhood.
Swami has dedicated Easwaramma Day as Children’s Day the world over, and children are encouraged to participate in a variety of ways to express their gratitude and reverence to their parents who are their first Gurus.
In a discourse given on 22 November 2002, our dearest Bhagawan said:
“Service to society is very important. The best way to love God is to love all and serve all. Let others think whatever they like, you should hold on to this sacred path.”
As an offering and lead-in to National Easwaramma Day, parents, children and gurus from around the country have been participating in the ‘Love All Serve All’ activity, centred on performing acts of kindness in this tenth anniversary year of our beloved Swami’s Maha Samadhi. The SSE children have been enthusiastically observing this nationally coordinated activity as a heartfelt offering for Easwaramma Day.
Although online, the programme for the day will still include familiar elements such as the children’s pledge ceremony, prayers, group devotional singing and performances. A key feature of the programme will be interactive activities for the children. We look forward to welcoming you on this sacred and joyous occasion.
In Sai service, Roni Ramdin and Vasuki Easwarakumar
