Human life is most precious and should be handled with utmost care, love and reverence and is the essential requisite to achieve the four goals of human life - Dharma (righteousness), Artha (wealth), Kama (desire) and Moksha (liberation) (Baba).

Health Awareness Clinics are held about 6-8 times per year in different part of the UK . It is a great opportunity for the local community to get a general health check and to talk to health professionals about how to look after themselves and get advice on healthier living which is especially crucial during this time of global financial constraint.

The aim of the joint clinic is to raise awareness of health concerns and to recognise the problems of various conditions such as high Blood Pressure, Diabetes, dental and eyes related conditions of which the individual may not be aware of until it is too late. The clinic also offers a wide variety of preventive and intervention health programme to help develop good healthy habits and lifestyles. Whether it is quitting tobacco, losing a few pounds, learning to eat correctly, exercise or understand diabetes or cardiovascular disease so that the individual has the best information possible to make healthy and informed decisions concerning health.

  4. Exercise and Healthy diet
  5. Eye and dental check
  6. Pharmacist and GP advice
  7. Talks on health topics
  8. Stalls on tobacco awareness and smoking cessation, Diabetes UK, NBS, Stroke association.

The clinics are served by qualified medical practitionersí volunteers specialising in their respective fields and supported by other allied health professional volunteers.
