Region 7 Spiritual Wing

Each Centre and Group undertakes different activities at Centre/Group level. Depending on the Centre/Group, Study Circle sessions take place fortnightly or monthly; discussing topics such as Love All Serve All, I am I, The Thought of the Day together with Phyllis Crystal's work.

Monthly, there is Bhajan singing and light/silent meditation. Guest speakers are invited and devotees also share their experiences with Swami and the national events they have attended e.g. Universal Prayer Day, Sai Ideal Health Conference.

The Cheltenham Group also does Rudram practice 3 times a week, together with Vedic chanting.

Within the Marazion Group, Cornwall for those interested in Vedanta there is a Vedanta group. The Group reads The Bhagavad Gita Home Study course as taught by Swami Dayananda of Arsha Vidya.

The unique Spiritual activity within the Region is the involvement by devotees in the 'Sathya Sai Speaks' Talking Books project. Volume 7 has been recorded in devotees own voices in an mp3 format for distribution to those who prefer to hear these or those who are partially sighted or blind.

A Regional 'Universal Prayers Day', was held in Bath where about 100 people attended. There were representatives from the following religious groups: Christian, Baha'i, Islamic, Jewish and Hindu.

The day allowed the different religious communities to get together and pray together in praise of God in different languages and styles. Peace within the community and around the World was also prayed for.
